A TRIED & TESTED PROCESS

Over the years, we’ve cultivated a tried and tested process that allows us to progress from conception to completion with ease, all the while catering to your unique needs along the way. Our process emphasises expert guidance, transparency, and clear communication to ensure your home goals are not only met, but exceeded. Keep reading to discover how we offer a tailormade building experience.

1. Initial Consultation

We meet with you one-on-one to learn about your project, what you hope to achieve and your needs.

We’ll run through your budgeting and scheduling needs. We’ll conduct a free on-site inspection to ensure the project is viable on your land.

2. Design

Our Homes By Brownhill plans are the perfect starting point for your home design for your unique lifestyle.

With a wide range of plans expertly designed for the local area, they’re a fantastic source of inspiration for your new custom home and flexible enough to be tailormade to your needs, lifestyle, and tastes. We’ll consult you closely to find the plan that best fits your family and make any desired alterations. We can also work with your chosen architect or designer to bring your dream home design to life. We suggest having an architect or designer on board from the earliest stage, so everyone is on the same page and working towards a common goal from the earliest possible moment.

3. Selections

Our team will assist you in choosing the selections that will make your new home unique to you!

From fittings and fixtures to colours and materials, there is endless potential to customise your new home – no matter the plan or budget.

4. Tender

A detailed cost estimate is arranged for you to oversee based on your design, selections and needs..

At this stage, you’ll be able to make any significant changes before contracts are signed and construction begins for a small $3,000 fee.

5. Contract Signing

Using the Master Builders template, we’ll draw up a detailed but easy-to-read contract for you.

This contract includes a transparent breakdown of costs and everything you need to know about your specific project.

6. Construction

We begin working on your dream project! We keep you up to date with regular on-site visit and phone calls.

We’ll send you photos, videos and other updates accessible via our online client portal. We’ll keep in close communication throughout the build to make sure you’re happy with how your dream home is progressing.

7. Handover

Once the home has been completed, you’ll receive the keys to your beautiful new dream home.

Our involvement doesn’t end there, however – we’ll attend to any issues or defects three months after you receive the keys. And as a new member of the Brownhill community, we’ll stay in touch for years to come!
